Today, I present you the week end when Maude came back to see me in London! Happy (to be glad as say some people…) to find us again… We have use these week end to carry on to visit London. This time we went to the south of the Thames (Tate Museum, Milledium Bridge, Tower Bridge, Southwark Cathedral and Market…). We have also eaten in a Mexican restaurant… There was a buffet called “eat all as you can”. All is in the slogan. So we have eaten a lot and that was pretty good…
To conclude it was 3 short days but very nice…

Today, I show you my first party in London. It was when Maude still was here. We were with Baptiste, Olivier and later Renaud at Brike Lane which is a street with a lot of pub and Pakistani restaurants. It's an area very in to go out in London. It has been our first tasted pints of beer… It's cheaper than in France but 1/2 litre each, it's treacherous. An ambush is coming soon…
I will try to show you other parties in London like well-known night-club but I didn't always my camera with me…

Hello!
Today I present you where I live in London. As you can see on the map, my flat is in the north of London in the district of Kentish Town. It’s a normal district but just below at 15 minutes by foot, there is Camden Town. It’s the punk&rock district of London (Amy Whinehouse comes from here and live still here). You can see this area in the album. It’s very f beautiul , stange but funny. There is too a canal and a part of this area is called Little Venice (look at the photos).
Otherwise, my placement is in poorer neighbourhoods in the east of London, where a lot of Indian and Pakistanis live. It is next to Whitechapel, the Jack's the ripper district at 40 minutes by bike (every days). The district is moving much and there is a big park (Mile End Park) with the same canal close to me where I eat at midday. It’s a big university with several research centres. Mine, Nanoforce is a modern and newbuilding. All people are nice and my placement is very interesting. I work with my supervisor (the blond man on the photos), he is young and cool. Simply, our work is about a composite material of polymer and his study at very low temperature (-196°C). The application is a big tank for a natural liquid gas which is very cold. I said no more because it is a confidential work and I can imagine that nobody should understand too…
